For all LifeForce USA Instructors:

If you need to renew your AHA BLS Instructor certification, Choose from one of the following dates to be held at the LifeForce USA Training Center in Neptune, NJ:

  1.         Monday, September 9, 2024 – 5:00pm to 10:00pm
  2.        Friday, September 27, 2024 – 8:30am to 1:30pm 
  3.        Monday, October 7, 2024 – 5:00pm to 10:00pm
  4.        Friday, October 25, 2024 – 8:30am to 1:30pm 
  5.        Monday, November 4, 2024 – 5:00pm to 10:00pm
  6.        Friday, November 22, 2024 – 8:30am to 1:30pm
  7.        Monday, December 16, 2024 – 5:00pm to 10:00pm
  8.        Friday, December 27, 2024 – 8:30am to 1:30pm

 

If these courses do not fit into your schedule, please call LifeForce USA for alternative dates and locations, if available.

For safety reasons, the maximum number of instructors that can renew per any session listed above is 4.  Please call LifeForce USA at 732-919-6070 to confirm there are still spots available in the course date that you desire.
To provide a safe environment, the class is limited to 16 students.  Every student will have their own equipment setup to use, which is spaced out at least 3 feet in all directions from another student.  We will have gloves for you to use too, and touchless hand sanitizers for you to use if desired.
Due to the recommendations from the CDC and State of NJ, wearing a mask is now optional.  If you are not feeling well, have any signs or symptoms of a COVID-19, have a fever, or other respiratory issues, you will not be allowed to attend the skill session, and will be rescheduled to the next available date that fits your schedule.  If you have a temperature of 100.4 or higher, you will not be allowed into the training room and not allowed to take the course for that day, and will be rescheduled.

 

To renew, you need to meet the following requirements:

Prior to Renewing:

Make sure that you have taught, either as the Lead or Assisting Instructor, 4 courses over the past 2 years.  If you have taught for other agencies where the paperwork was turned into another training center, please provide us with either the rosters from those courses, or the “Instructor/TCF Teaching Activity Notice to Primary TC” form.  This form must be completed by the Training Center (TC) that holds those records.

 

During the Renewal sessions:

You will be tested or evaluated on 3 things:

  1. Your BLS Provider skills
  2. Passing the BLS Provider written exam with an 84% or better
  3. Evaluated teaching in the BLS Provider course on said date.  Be prepared to lecture on any CPR topic, and work within the groups of students when testing of skills.

The cost of the renewal process is $90.00.  You will receive a new AHA BLS Instructor card and a new AHA BLS Provider card, when you successfully complete all 3 aspects.
