Description
This CPO renewal is intended for the currently Certified Pool Operator (CPO) who needs to be re-certified but does not want to attend a renewal course. This package includes an online course code, a current copy of the CPO Pool & Spa Operator Handbook, one exam and the certification fee. To renew, the CPO completes the Pool Operation Primer online course and then contacts the instructor to schedule a mutually agreeable time to take the exam. The exam is open book with a passing score of 74% and a time limit of 3 hours. Calculators are allowed but all other electronic devices are prohibited (e.g. Cell Phones can not be used as calculators). The CPO exam may be taken in-person or online once a mutually agreeable time (and location, if applicable) have been determined. Note: Both the online course and exam must be completed prior to the CPO expiration date and it is the sole responsibility of the CPO to make arrangements to take the exam prior to their expiration date.
What to bring to the exam: Their current CPO certification, a government issued photo ID, a calculator, all other electronic devices (e.g. cell phones) are prohibited during the exam, and the proof of online course completion to be admitted for the exam. Note: The name on the CPO certificate must match the name on the photo ID.
